Hey,
I posted before about having audio issues but now after getting the new 177.92 drivers and 2nd beta i dont have out of sync problems or anything but the audio qulaity is poor. Ill have set the audio for 160kbps bit rate but still it sounds really curdy. sounds like its muffled and its something around 96kbps quality?
i have a opeth dvd and the audio is very good on it so theres no issue with the source file. the audio i guess could be described as worse than youtube quality

Still no fix?????????
How can we accept that you are telling a lies to us???and keep waiting forever for the audio fix??and the audio bit rates sidebar is just for fun that NEVER work???Sorry to say I have lost a patience here and I will send out the message to ALL reviewer that highlight your product have a DEFECT THAT CANNOT FIX!!!!
Yup!!!
I must admit, I see it the same way. As much as I like a CUDA powered converter like Badaboom or TMPEGEnc Express, as much it is useless if I just get poor audio quality. my telephone sounds better than videos converted by Badaboom. And, yes, it's a shame the company didn't get it fixed and still released the prog. Too bad also, badaboom shoots itself out of business by not being honest. CUDA and ATIs aquivalent is the next big thing in video compression and as far as I know, all big players are working on their own implementation. I should have waited before buying the full version of badaboom ...
Timeline?
I can see here that you pledged to release a fix to the poor audio for version 1.0 back in early September. Its now Mid November, is there likely to be a release to fix this soon as all audio sounds like its under-water?
hey!!!1.0 still not solvved!!Still 60kps!!!!!
How come.I already got full version but convert a DVD just got 60kps sound for my PSP....
Audio quality
Check out the blog for information about the v1.1 release coming up in mid-December! Audio fix is in.
Re: hey!!!1.0 still not solvved!!Still 60kps!!!!!
The audio bitrate slider is not hooked into the application, but it has been fixed and will be released as a part of the update shortly. We apologize for the inconvenience and thanks for your patience!
This is an urgent problem
First of all Eli this is an excellent product idea and I highly approve of the simple interface and function, I get amazing performance on my Alienware desktop with GTX 280 at home but you have a serious problem with the audio quality. I primarily want a transcoder to convert UK DVB video for viewing on Apple TV but the sound quality on this 1.0 version is appalling, unserviceable in fact. This is a shame because this sort of error is how you kill an embryonic business and I suggest you start burning the midnight oil to get this resolved or others will beat you to the gun with something better. You priorities should be :
1. Fix stereo encoding on the current version.
2. Add Xvid/DivX input.
3. Add 5.1 output support.
I have purchased a full license to offer some support but as it stands its useless. You have an opportunity to ride the wave of interest in CUDA technology and the market surge in Nvidia's fortunes and I hope you don't squander that. I work in financial modelling and computing and there is a lot of interest in CUDA here too.
Yes..please go for it asap as
Yes..please go for it asap as I am happy with this software and found added value on my 8800GT....everything is good and now remains is the sound only....Please!!
No matter which output device
No matter which output device I choose or how many kbit/s it is in the advanced tab, I always get poor audio with no more than 60 kbit/s - and since I use the fill version it can't be a limitation.
Does anybody have any idea' Does even a Badaboom employer read the topics from time to time?
Best regards
Uri

Re: audio
Audio is one of the main issues we are currently working on, and it will be up and ready to go for the Badaboom 1.0 release.
