Corrupted data when transcoding to PSP

I have tried to convert several different video clips/movies using the PSP profile, but when I copy them to my memory stick Video folder they just show up as Corrupted data. I took the same clips and converted then with DVD Catalyst and PSP Video 9 and they worked fine. Next I got MediaInfo out and looked at both versions of the files. The only difference is the Badaboom files are using 2 reference frames while the DVD Catalyst and PSP Video 9 ones are only using 1 reference frame. I do not see an option in the advanced settings to change the number of reference frames. Is this something that will have to be fixed in an update?

Thanks...Brian

I'm using Windows 7 x64 and it seems to have fixed the psp error. But there was one post from someone saying that their 98/9600GT was not working with this, just be warned. Mine works flawlessly with my 8800GT! =)

Hey all - We are having several issues with the 9500 restarting systems while running Badaboom.  I'm not sure if it's causing other issues as well, but it is being a problem child.  At this time we are unsure of the cause of these issues.

Hey all.  An FYI for using Badaboom with the PSP. If you enable cabac (main profile) these output files will not work on the PSP. Using main profile with cabac "off" will work, however. I hope this helps!

Same problem here too. Tried multiple files with the same result: video shows up as corrupted data on the PSP.

I'm having the same problem, I think it has to do with the frame rate being 25, instead of 29.97 which the PSP only supports.
