xbox 360 will not play no matter what settings I use.

Compatibility

I really would like to get this software but the only reason would be for me to use it with my 360 I have tried baseline and main and a bunch of stypes from 3.0 to 4.0 and everything in between. Also I have tried 1280x720 and 720x480. Any ideas why it wont play?

File Size (> 4GB)

The file cannot, under any circumstances, be larger than 4GB UNLESS it is a native WMV/WMV-HD format. This goes for ALL supported file-types (e.g. MP4, AVI, Divx, etc).

Limit the file-size to <= 4.0GB -- all of the advanced profile features that you mention are supported.

Rename method

Have you tried renaming the files from .mp4 to .avi ?

The Xbox will need to connect to the internet to get an update.
