I recently activated my BadaBoom Trial by clicking the Buy Now button on the splash screen. The software is working but I did not receive a key or a download link. I am planning on re-installing my OS soon so I would like to be able to re- install the software without issues. Please advise what I will need to do...

You are correct. In the case
You are correct. In the case of a reformat or hardware upgrade, you can contact Digital River's customer service to have your copy of Badaboom re-activated to the full version. There is a limited number of times you can do this however, for obvious reasons. :)
Thanks! - Kelly S
That was not mentioned when I
That was not mentioned when I purchased this software. And I don't see why it would be obvious. Please explain. With all my other software that I buy I can reformat as needed.
Please check on this as I'm running Windows 7 beta and will probably be reformatting several times over this year.
If Badaboom mentioned this limitation anywhere prior to my purchase please let me know where.
This is not a trivial issue. Please get back to me.
The Badaboom license
The Badaboom license agreement states that the intended use is for one computer, owned by you. The only way to ensure that the activation key is locked to being used on one computer is to tie it to a set of hardware. This is to prevent theft of the software and mass distribution that is not part of the license agreement.
Thanks! - Kelly S
Link to license agreement?
All I can find is
"Product license and activation information
- Badaboom requries online activation from the PC which it is being installed onto.
- The Badaboom license is good for multiple upgrades up until Badaboom 2.0. We will be providing more information about planned features and schedules on the product page"
And I wasn't talking about a set of hardware. I was commenting about what you said in the post above mine.

That is not the same as being tied to a set of hardware. A reformat is totally different then changing your hardware.
I'll be purchasing Windows 7 when it gets released. This will entail a format on my part. Who knows, with bugs and what not it might take several formats. If Badaboom can't handle that then I'll be taking my problem to my credit card company and elsewhere.
Anyway, please refer me to the exact license agreement you are referring to. I don't want there to be any confusion.
And please check with the most senior person you can get in touch with. I want to know exactly your company's position on this.
Thank you and I await your prompt reply.
Link for key
I see that I can download the trial then click on the Customer Service link. From this window I am able to re issue the license by adding my purchase number and password.
Is there a limit or time frame imposed on this feature? I ask because I do software beta testing on the latest and greatest cutting edge hardware. This can lead to problems that will force me to restore an OS image to an earlier version, do an OS in place install or complete reinstallation of the OS.
